Speaking of public service announcements, Singapore recently launched the"Get it Right" campaign to encourage Singaporeans to speak correct English. It is, after all, one of the official languages of the country. Along with several quotes about the English language in general--including Homer Simpson's classic: "Why do I need English? I'm not going to England!"--these signs are up all over the library encouraging speakers to get it right, lah.
