One of Hamish's "likes" in her infographic the other day was "Playing Advanced Tongue." Hamish has been a Tongue champion pretty much her whole life. You may recall (or not) that Tongue showed up on her 1 month infographic. Tongue Prodigy!
As she become more manually dexterous, she's stepped up the game. Basically the rules to Advanced Tongue are thus:
1. She begins by playing beginner's tongue.
2. You are enthralled and join her.
3. She goes in for the bonus points--a tongue grab!
We sacrificed our dignity and tried to get some instructive pictures...
We begin a game of family Tongue. She's thrown off her game a bit, because she didn't initiate. And she's momentarily confused when the People In The Mirror play too.
She quickly realizes there are no points to be earned from the Mirror People, so she switches tactics.
She scores a point on Mommy!
Point on Daddy!
We catch one fuzzy image before she detects our recording device and refuses to reveal any more of her secrets!
BUT! We caught her on video. You'll see her demonstrating the intricacies of Tongue in the first 30 seconds or so. Then she knocks over JellyCat and expresses his displeasure that she can't reach the table.
*LOL*!!! Almost as good as being there!
