Friday marked the start of week two of our distribution. Alli and I both had salads to finish off the second head of green leaf lettuce from week one. Also, we failed to mention our use of chives. They were a somewhat minor ingredient in a large mixture of mostly store-purchased veggies which I grilled in our grill pan with lots of special flavorings (again, to be saved for a later dedicated grill-pan posting, stay tuned!) at a friend's barbecue.

So, for week two, we got:
1/2lb salad mix
1 head of red leaf lettuce
1 head of cabbage
1 bunch of kale
1 stalk of broccoli
5 turnips and associated greens
a bunch of scallions
a handful of garlic scapes
1 sprig of rosemary
and 1 quart of strawberries
