I was in the mood for real breakfast yesterday, so I threw together a fresh farm share egg with a slice of the pain de mie, once again according to Pioneer Woman instructions (same place we got the zucchini and pasta recipe--I appreciate the pictures).
Basically I fried an egg in a hole I cut in the bread and topped the whole thing with salt, pepper, and butter from the skillet. Yeah, I don't know that it's heart healthy, but it was kind of absolutely amazing.

I just finished eating half a frozen California Pizza Kitchen pizza, but I really want this egg in a hole thing. Chad just gave me a weird look when I suggested it. I think I'll get up and make one in the morning!

We just did the egg in the hole thing the other night. It was from my grilled cheese cookbook...and it was awesome. :o)

I should not have opened this blog post before having breakfast. I now need to eat 500 plates of food.
