We were iced in for about a week in February. It was my niece's first birthday and we missed it, which was a huge bummer, but we made the best of it. There was lounging around and reading magazines:
Once we had a dusting on top of the ice, the neighborhood turned out in force.
There was sledding and snow playing and potluck suppers to keep the cabin fever somewhat at bay.
It was bitterly cold, so Kyle acted as The Manimal's snowsuit:
Our street can hardly be called a hill, but there was plenty of ice so as long as you got a push, it was a decent sledding experience. Especially for a 2 year old who didn't know any better.
Kyle and Hamish even managed to make a snowman:
We were glad when it melted away (and feel for our Boston friends who STILL have snow on the ground) but it sure was pretty while it lasted!

Psalms 139:9-10 If I take the wings of the dawn,
If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,
Even there Your hand will lead me,
And Your right hand will lay hold of me.
Can't you just email me?
