P is for Popsicles

Hamish is three! We can not believe this clever, capable, verbal girl has only been with us for three years. We enjoy her so much. 

We started her Saturday morning birthday (shouldn't all birthdays be on Saturday morning?!) with cuddling in the big bed then a pile of presents in our jammies.

Then we all got dressed (the birthday girl in costume) and went to Pancake Pantry to celebrate with birthday pancakes. Melissa (and David) made sure we were well taken care of!!

That is quite a birthday pile of pancakes!

Saturday afternoon we played new games. The birthday girl won with absolutely no help from us!

We kept to the regular nap schedule, taking a trip to the park to scope out the site for Sunday's party. The back home to meet some friends who had dropped off a birthday gift and to do a little more preparation: mainly blowing up and stringing purple ("That's my favorite!") balloons.



Can you even handle the joy? Oh we love her so.

Sunday we celebrated with family and a few friends with a low key popsicle party at the park. It was a HOT day, so just right for popsicles.



 Happy, happy birthday Hamish! We adore you.
