It's been a long time since we mentioned the tropical snails. They show up after the rain (which is almost daily) and make their way across the paths. Especially in the evening, you want to watch where you're going.

Kyle sent me this photo the other day on his way home in the evening.


That's a pretty big snail.

Kyle's take: this picture doesn't do justice.  This snail was like a speed bump in the sidewalk.  He was taking up like a whole square.  He was moving so fast I barely had time to get a picture of him.  That shell on his back? He clearly walked down to the beach and stole that from a marine organism.  This is actually one you probably could step on.  He would just shrug you off and keep going.  That's all.
